Yurt Trailer!

Trailers normally come before the event!  Well this trailer ran behind – in more ways than one. 

A month late and after a lot of effort and tons of planning and rebuilding and adding and subtracting we finally took delivery the first of our super-custom-made yurt trailer. Designed to be packed to the gunwhales – if trailers can have such things – with enough yurtage for an entire event.

The launch of the new vessel (?) did come in time however for this – the London Metropolitan University Staff Summer Ball, where two of our small yurts were matched with one of those big, white, square things – oh yes, a marquee.

One yurt did a roaring trade as a small, intimate and rather exclusive, dining area.

The other was a little more frantic, housing a wild Karaoke bar and jammed all night with aspiring crooners from the massed ranks of North London’s glittering  Academia…

La la la la la lallal al lallallal la!!

Such a shame we couldn’t make it there on the night!
