Big Yurt Dinner

Normal yurt and marquee hire companies take a well earned break at this time of year. Catch up on their sleep, write a few blog posts (naat) or take a trip to somewhere.  Like our pals from the Yurtel who have been lounging in the pools of India for the last 6 weeks!! But not us!! No sireee.

Busier than ever before and it’s only February!  with everything from little tiny 16th birthday yurts to massive camps and villages. It’s all very tiring but it’s been great fun and as usual we’ve worked for some fantastic people.

Take this for example – dinner for 98 last weekend – and even we were amazed at how it looked!  It’s definitely the best use yet of our Big Mongolian Marquee.

But it wasn’t easy ! It took a total of 140 hours to build, lasted 6 hours and then disappeared in 7!! 

Let’s hope the memories last a bit longer!!
