Storage Magic

We are not alone!!

Or at least so our friends in the yurt business tell us.  We all struggle with the right transport, the right timings, the right costings and the right suppliers,  It just like any business really.  

But then comes storage.

Storage is different.

Storage has a mind of it’s own.  One day its there, with plenty to spare – and the next it’s gone, filled up by another delivery of yurts and poles from Ulan bataar, cushions form India, carpets and tables from Morocco and roles of gaffer tape from Hackney (very cosmopolitan I know!).

And when that happens, all the stuff that was in it takes on a life of its own, flowing like some demented sorcerer’s broom out of your warehouse, down the road,  into your garage, through your sheds, up your stairs and finally settling in your spare room?  Very nice!

It’s like a nightmare – only you’re awake!!

Well, this winter it was time to regain control.  So we cast a few magic spells of our own to send the demons back from whence they came.

That’s more like it – well, until the next time!
