We won’t make a crisis out of a drama!
2000 years of history, maybe, but its great when we are asked to put our yurts
in places where they just seem to be so right. In this case it was almost as if
they had designed the space to suit.
It was for a week-long drama symposium in Kent and the pair of yurts were used
as a theatre workshop, a cinema, a bar, a lecture room and a performance venue!
Who said they weren't versatile?
But the best thing about it was the students, who threw themselves into the
building of the yurts with huge amounts of enthusiasm and good humour - that and
the singing practice next door and the spontaneous appearance of a brass band
across the courtyard.
A great day!
